Directions for the deaf gain critical reading and thinking essay are attached in the file entitled “Deaf Gain Critical Reading and Thinking Essay”.
I have already taken the time to carefully and closely “read” the 3 “texts” that are required
sources for my essay:
1) “Deaf Gain an Introduction”
2) “Hearing the Unheard” Dr. Joseph Valente TEDxPSU video presentation

3) “On Becoming Hearing: Lessons in Limitations, Loss, and Respect”
Dirksen Bauman, TEDxGallaudet video presentation

I’ve included what was asked of us for those three assignment/texts/notes as well in my files uploaded.
The final report should be at least 2 ½ pages (not including the reference page,
which must be included at the end of the paper). Four sources have to be cited in total which you will see in the directions provided for the essay. The additional resources provided in the professor’s instructions are below as well as in the pdf instructions.
