You will be required to attend a live speech event OR find a recent on-line speaker. Ted TalksLinks to an external site. have some very interesting speakers and may be an option. Your speaker must be alive. Your speaker must be speaking live on a stage, standing. Face only speeches will not provide the necessary artifact you will need for your speaker analysis. Please include a link to the online speech and a full transcript of the speech and or a flyer or proof of the live event. I have attached a summarized article from Dugan (2008)Links to an external site. to help you understand and watch a speaker with a critical eye. Here is a spreadsheet Download spreadsheetto help you take notes while the speaker is speaking. Please write no less than 300 words, no more than 500 words.
